Numarine has condensed the explorer ethos into a chunky, sub-150GT package, for the perfect pocket-size explorer yacht tailored to owners looking to venture further afield. At 26 metres, the 26XP might be one of the smaller hulls in the shipyard's explorer offering but she easily matches her bigger sisters in terms of cruising capability.

A full-displacement option is well-matched to those in search of superlative range and fuel economy – that’s 3,000 nautical miles to play with - while an alternative semi-displacement hull is geared towards speed and style.

A bold exterior features a wide vertical bow and angular windows - a Numarine staple - that bathe her interior in natural light and offer owners unsurpassed views from every angle. The flybridge can also be customised to include a crane and tender stowage as well as offering three, four or five-cabin layouts.

The 26XP is supremely quiet too. All the wood comes from a German company that sandwiches foam between the wood, so even room to room the noise and vibration are minimal. For early morning starts or overnight passages, Lithium-ion batteries allow the boat to run in night mode for up to 18 hours, with no generator so guests can snooze in total silence. The next day the batteries charge again while you cruise.

A popular choice with those in the market for small but capable explorer, the 26XP already has ten hulls on the water with another set to splash in 2021.
