HOW DO WE DEAL WITH ENQUIRIES?

At Azure Marine we listen closely to your requirements and will help you determine if the yacht you are considering is the right yacht, at the best value. We can objectively tell you about the condition of the yacht before you decide whether or not to spend your time inspecting it. We will source and compare similar yachts on (and off) the market, the history of the yacht, how long it has been on the market, and the motivation of the seller. 

HOW DO WE GO ABOUT MARKETING A YACHT?

We devise a strategy with the best chances of reaching the most qualified audience for each yacht category. Our methods range from e-marketing, online listing access for public viewing, yacht shows, print media, using both in-house and external portal databases. We also engage with other brokers and representatives to ensure your yacht gets maximum exposure.

who takes care of the paperwork.

We do. The process can be overwhelming to many buyers/sellers and that's where Azure Marine step in. We are familiar with all the paperwork requirements from the initial Offer to Purchase and Bill of Sale to licensing and registration; to paying tax, certificates of ownership, security agreements, and other documents needed to complete a sale. We also understand maritime and admiralty laws for the type of yachts we represent and sell, as well as agency contracts, listing agreements, closing statements, deposit requirements and escrowed accounts to safeguard funds.

Do we provide support after the sale?

Yes we do. We can provide yacht care services depending on the location or home berth of the yacht and typically this would form part of a yacht management service. We take care of all the headaches and hassles that Owning a Luxury Yacht brings, so you can enjoy your new yacht without worrying about Safety, crew, maintenance, insurance, audits, class, flag regulation and compliance and the other million and one tasks that get taken care of behind the scences.  

How much do we Charge?

A typical commission percentage that a yacht broker earns is around 10%, meaning that they will earn 10% of the price that the boat has sold for (with upto 60% of the fee going to the buyers broker). However, some brokers can charge more or less depending on the size of the boat. At Azure Marine we charge a flat rate of 8% (exclusive of VAT) for selling a yacht. We do not charge a fee for our "Buyers broker service" as all fees are paid by the seller. All Charter commissions are included and come out of the advertised price.
